📜 Our History

Founded in 1931 by the Mill Hill Missionaries, the seminary began as the Mill Hill Major Seminary Ggaba. It played a pioneering role in the formation of clergy in Uganda and the wider East African region.

Over the decades, the institution has evolved while remaining faithful to its founding purpose. Today, St. Mbaaga Major Seminary continues to build on this legacy, forming priests who are spiritually grounded, intellectually equipped, and pastorally committed.
